Magnetic Reorientation in the Antiferromagnetic Bi-layer: Exchange Anisotropy Versus Single-Ion Anisotropy

Abstract

Magnetic reorientation in the bi-layer antiferromagnetic system is investigated theoretically. Selfconsistent calculations for the easy and hard axis magnetizations and the reorientation temperature for different parameters of the exchange and single-ion anisotropy are carried out. Particularly, we compare the effect of these anisotropies in a wide range of their parameters on the above mentioned observables.
