“…Die ternäre Legierung Nd‐Fe‐B wurde im Fall der Altmagnete ergänzt durch die Seltenen Erden Dysprosium und Praseodym, das Übergangsmetall Cobalt sowie geringere aber für die magnetischen Eigenschaften wichtige Anteile an Aluminium, Kupfer, Niob und Gallium. Cobalt erhöht die Curie‐Temperatur des Materials und führt zu einer verbesserten Korrosionsbeständigkeit vor allem der neodymreichen Phasen 29 – 32, während geringe Mengen Aluminium und Niob die Koerzitivfeldstärke von gesinterten Magneten erhöhen 33. Die chemische Zusammensetzung dieser Altmagnete unterscheidet sich signifikant von der eines typischen kunststoffgebundenen oder heißumgeformten Magneten.…”
