Magnetic Flux Switching Type Permanent Magnet Generator for Bicycles: Modelling and an Experimental Study

Abstract: The article introduces two new designs of flux switching permanent magnet alternators with a radial and an axial arrangement of the inductor relative to the magnetic flux switch. The study presents the results of 3D magnetic flux modelling along with the outcomes of physical experiments.
