Magnetic and Structural properties of Eu3Ir4Sn13-xGax

Abstract: The intermetallic compound Eu 3 Ir 4 Sn 13 presents a peculiar structural distortion at T*~57K and an antiferromagnetic transition at T N~1 1K. [1] Previous studies have shown that, under hydrostatic pressure T* increases and T N barely changes.
