Abstract:We demonstrate the application of chiral magnesium complexes in an asymmetric carbon‐sulfur bond‐forming reaction. Enantioselective and cost‐effective methodology under mild condition for the thia‐Michael addition, utilizing an in situ generated chiral dinuclear magnesium‐ProPhenol complex, has been developed.
