This period includes the development of gabbro and diorite around 330–300 Ma in the Siziwang Banner area (Zhang et al, 2004; Zhang, Liu, Han, He, & Huang, 2007; Zhang, Zhao, Song, Yang, Hu, & Wu, 2007; Zhou et al, 2009), the formation of (ultra)ferromagnesian‐diorite‐granite around 330–300 Ma in the northern Hebei region (Zhang, Zhao, & Kroner, 2009; Zhang, Zhao, & Song, 2007; Zhao et al, 2004), and the widespread occurrence of Permian diorite‐granite rock formations dating from 250–300 Ma (Jian et al, 2008; Liu et al, 2010; Wang, 2014, 2021; Zhang, Zhao, & Liu, 2009).
