“…The binding energy at around 855.3 and 873.1 eV for Ni 2p 3/2 and Ni 2p 1/3 , respectively, are the spin–orbital characteristics of the Ni 2+ ions . Meanwhile, the satellite peaks are preserved in Ni 2p region, which is the other important testimony for the dominating presence of Ni 2+ in the NiSe/Ni 3 Se 2 /NF‐12 electrocatalyst (Figure c) . In addition, the high‐resolution XPS spectra of the Se 3d is analyzed in detail as shown in Figure d.…”

“…The stability issue for OER is even more pronounced as materials have to survive in the strongly oxidative environment of electrolyzers that can induce changes on the structure of the catalyst [3]. For stability measurement of NMWNT, nickel foam has been utilized as the electrode substrate (NMWNT/NF) since the adhesion of NMWNT on the NF is better than on the GC.…”

“…In order to reduce/replace noble metal based electrocatalysts, various non-precious metal water-splitting catalysts have been developed [12]. In recent years, clear progress has been made in the development of efficient electrocatalysts with earth-abundant materials for HER [13,14] and OER [3,4,15] in alkaline media. Substantial research efforts have been put on developing versatile bifunctional catalysts with satisfying activity toward both HER and OER, enabling operation in the same electrolyte [8,16].…”

“…The baseline resistances in N 2 for as-grown CNTs, -Fe 2 O 3 /CNTs, and purified CNTs were approximately 2.5 kΩ, 1.9 MΩ, and 360 kΩ, respectively. Figure 5(a) the p-type LPG sensing behavior is observed for as-grown CNTs, which resulted from the CNTs sensing while the Fe catalyst was encapsulated with carbon [27]. Meanwhile, -Fe 2 O 3 /CNT films display an n-type sensing behavior due to the formations of -Fe 2 O 3 that act as LPG sensing.…”
