Abstract:Present paper deals with the petrogenesis of gabbros and pyroxenites of Bhavani complex, Tamil Nadu, Southern India. Studied gabbros are mainly composed of pyroxenes with minor plagioclase (An 10-30 ) and amphibole minerals.
