Abstract: Scavenger receptor A (SRA) is preferentially expressed in macrophages and implicated as a multifunctional pattern recognition receptor for innate immunity. Hepatic macrophages play a primary role in the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver disease (ALD). Herein, we observed that SRA expression was significantly increased in the liver tissues of mice with alcohol-related liver injury.
