Macroinvertebrate communities in spring-fed alpine source pools

Abstract: Three permanent alpine springs and their associated pools in the Australian Alps were studied over a summer season to understand their hydrochemical function and characterise the (previously unreported) aquatic macroinvertebrate communities.
