Machine Vision based quality inspection for automotive parts using edge detection technique

Abstract: This paper discusses the way in which the efficacy of inspection process can be improved. In the existing system the products are inspected manually to identify the defects. However, existing methodology is not efficient or accurate. On account of this the product is at a high risk of being rejected due to its low quality. This can lead to a hike in the production cost.
