Abstract

Machine preservation is a hot topic and may become the gold standard of organ preservation in the near future. This approach could increase the number of organs available for transplantation, reduce post-transplantation complications, and decrease the length of hospital stay, important clinical goals to improve patient outcomes.The American Transplant Congress (ATC) is one of the most well-attended professional meetings in the world, bringing together over 5000 attendees, from more than 50 countries.
