Abstract:Background
There is a general dearth of information on extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB). We investigated Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) drug resistance and transmission patterns in EPTB patients treated in the Tshwane metropolitan area, South Africa.
