MA12.04 Mitochondrial-Related Proteins, PGAM5 and FUNDC1, in COPD-Associated Non-Small Cell Lung Carcinoma

Abstract: cell adhesion, which is currently being further investigated along with effects on integrin signaling pathways. Levels of EMT markers were assessed in MMP12 knockdown and LMO7 overexpressing cells using qPCR, western blotting and immunostaining. Results indicate that higher MMP12 expression is associated with a mesenchymal phenotype, whereas higher LMO7 expression is associated with an epithelial phenotype. Conclusion: Our results suggest that MMP12 is a key driver of migration and invasion in SqCC and its hig… Show more

“…Another study has also indicated that accumulation of FUNDC1 is presented at the MAM in the hypoxia environment . Furthermore, FUNDC1 was also verified to upregulate in COPD patients, which was consistent with the findings in this study. Moreover, the data in this present study implied that the biomarkers related to small airway function, including FEV0.3, FEF25‐75, and PEF, and the levels of IL‐6 and TNF‐α were elevated in COPD mice provoked by CS.…”
