“…It also allows improving the degree of polymerization by the careful selection of the synthesis temperature and the film thickness. [29][30][31] The surface of electrosynthesized PDM and PDP films is visually homogeneous, independently of the substrate used (either Pt or ITO). The cyclic voltammograms (second cycle) acquired during the synthesis of PDM and PDP on ITO substrate at different synthesis temperatures are shown in Figure 2.…”

“…Here F0 represents the fluorescence intensities in the absence of quencher, F represents the corrected fluorescence intensities in the presence of quencher (the correction method is same as that early employed by us), 9 Kq is the quenching rate constant of the bimolecule, KSV is the dynamic quenching constant, τ0 is the average lifetime of the molecule without quencher (the τ0 for the biopolymer is often taken as 10 -8 s) 13,14 and [Q] is the concentration of the quencher. In order to confirm the quenching mechanism, the procedure of the fluorescence quenching was first assumed to be dynamic quenching.…”

“…[3][4][5][6][7] But so far only a few reports on the reactions between the effective component in Chinese herbal medicines and serum albumin have been reported. [8][9][10] Fluorescence spectroscopy (FS) and ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV) have been widely used to study the interactions between the small molecules and bio-macromolecules. [3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] From the measurements and analyses of the fluorescence emission spectra, the fluorescence lifetime, fluorescence polarization, etc., a vast amount of information can be procured about the structural fluctuations and the microenvironment changes surrounding the fluorophore in the macromolecule.…”
