M1 selective muscarinic allosteric modulation enhances cognitive flexibility and effective salience in nonhuman primates

Abstract: Acetylcholine (ACh) in cortical neural circuits mediates how selective attention is sustained in the presence of distractors and how flexible cognition adjusts to changing task demands.
