“…These versatile tools act as guides, mathematically evaluating different scenarios and assigning scores ranging from 0 (undesirable) to 1 (highly desirable), this is considered a crucial step before model validation to set clear targets for prediction accuracy. 28,64,79 The predicted values aligned remarkably with the experimental findings, affirming the desirability function's success in guiding us toward optimal conditions for biosynthesis.…”

“…One of the important model goodness relies on high positive R 2 and adjusted- R 2 values that are ≥0.75 and relatively close. 64,65 The current model boasts high values ( R 2 = 0.9237, adjusted- R 2 = 0.9075), suggesting strong agreement between predicted and experimental results. Increasing R 2 and adjusted- R 2 values generally signify an improved model fit and more accurate relationships between tested variables and the response.…”

“…A small P-value (≤0.05) provides strong evidence to reject H 0 , whereas a large P-value (>0.05) suggests accepting H 0 . So, the P-value serves as a guideline for disregarding data that does not meet a specified significance level [ 14 , 31 , 32 ]. Based on the present data, there is strong evidence to reject H 0 , suggesting a significant effect of the tested factors on lipase production.…”

“…Another round of model evaluation was conducted based on the values of R 2 and adjusted-R 2 , which should both be positive with a value of ≥0.75 and relatively close to each other [ 20 , 31 ]. The high values of R 2 (0.9895) and adjusted-R 2 (0.9705) indicate the model fitness that demonstrates a strong agreement between the predicted and experimental values of lipase production.…”

“…Suya may serve as a bed for multiplication of Bacillus species because of poor roasting and can result to be a major threat to human populations or public health as reported by Orogu and Oshilim [7]. Suya can serve as potential bed for multiplication of Bacillus species because it is rich in nitrogenous compounds (amino acids, peptides, proteins), minerals and other growth factors as reported by El-Hersh et al [13]. In addition, they have some fermentable carbohydrates, usually glycogen and keep favourable pH for growth of most microorganisms [14].…”
