Lymphoscintigraphic Findings of Scrotal Lymphangioma

Abstract

As congenital lymphatic malformations, lymphangiomas commonly occur in the neck, tongue, and extremities, whereas scrotum is one of the least frequent sites. For this lymphatic flow disease, lymphoscintigraphy is regarded as a useful imaging method. Herein, in a child with scrotal cysts, scrotal region activity was detected in lymphoscintigraphy, consistent with likely lymphatic disorder. The postsurgical pathology confirmed the diagnosis of lymphangioma.
