Abstract:Signet-ring cell carcinomas are an aggressive, poorly differentiated, and highly invasive adenocarcinoma carrying a poor prognosis. Most of these tumors originate in gastrointestinal organs; however, primary lung signet-ring cell adenocarcinomas can rarely occur.
