Abstract:Lymphangiomas are congenital, hamartomatous and uncommon malformations of the lymphatic system that affect the skin and subcutaneous tissues. The most frequently used classification divides these lesions into 2 main groups according to the depth and size of these abnormal lymphatic vessels; arise from kidnappings of lymphatic tissue that should normally communicate with the lymphatic system.
