Lymph Node Ratio as a Prognostic Marker in Pancreatic Cancer Survival: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Abstract: The lymph node ratio (LNR) is defined as the ratio of number of positive lymph nodes to the total number of lymph nodes harvested during surgery. “…In other studies, a patient's R-status was independently associated with long-term survival [44]. On the other hand, the number of positive lymph nodes is consistently associated with OS in most studies and evidence demonstrates that there is a negative association between OS and LNR in N1 patients [48,49].
