“…Suchanekl in 1925 reported the first neurogenic laryngeal tumor which was probably a neurilemoma although this description has but a brief microscopic note with no photographs. The second example of a laryngeal neurilemoma was described in 1925,2 and since then additional cases have been reported by Vail, 3 Walker,4 McHenry,6 Dixoq6 and other^.^-'^ Cummings et all3 described nine examples of laryngeal neurogenic tumors of which two were neurilemomas, and the most recent report was added by Withman and Morris in 1970." The total number of laryngeal neurilemomas is not obvious because of variations in terminology and classification of neurogenic tumors in the literature.…”
