Lung inflammation is associated with lipid deposition

Abstract: Pneumonia is an acute respiratory disease of varying aetiology, which drew much attention during the COVID-19 pandemic. Among many thoroughly studied aspects of pneumonia, lipid metabolism has been addressed insufficiently.
