Lung cancer-associated cognitive impairment in a patient with Alzheimer’s disease pathology: A case report

Abstract: Pathologic amyloid β and tau protein accumulation in the cerebral cortex does not necessarily lead to a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Our current report presents a patient with Alzheimer’s disease pathology who presented general cognitive impairment we considered derived from the lung cancer itself, without metastasis.
