Lung Cancer and Smoking Trends in the United States Over the Past 25 Years

Abstract: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer incidence and death in the United States. The American Cancer Society estimated that there will be 157,000 new cases of lung cancer diagnosed in 1990 and 142,000 deaths.'
