Luminescence properties of Eu2+-activated Ca0.13Sr0.87Al2Si2O8: A bluish green phosphor for solid state lighting

Abstract: Eu 2+ activated phosphors with the composition of Ca 013 Sr 0.87 Al 2 Si 2 O 8 were synthesized by combustion technique. The luminescent properties of these phosphors have been explored by analyzing their excitation and emission spectra with the help of photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy.
