“…The obtained powders were pressed into 6 mm pellets and fixed to the support using double-sided adhesive tape. The Arsenic K-edge spectra were collected on the DiffAbs beamline and the Fe K-edge spectra on the LUCIA beamline (Flank et al, 2006) of the SOLEIL Synchrotron (SOLEIL, St Aubin, France). On both beamlines, the monochromators were Si(111) double crystals.…”

“…Polarized X-ray absorption experiments were performed at the SOLEIL synchrotron, on the soft X-ray LUCIA Beamline [47]. Two KTiOPO 4 (011) single crystals are used as a monochromator ; the energy resolution is approximately 0.5 eV at the Al K edge.…”

“…During our measurements, we made use of the KTP monochromatic crystals. In the energy range of 1280 to 2140 eV, the KTP monochromatic system has an energy resolution between 0.25 and 0.31 eV (Flank et al 2006). The beam energy can be increased gradually (stepped by the resolution of the monochromator) in order to measure the absorption at the pre-edge (1800 -1839 eV), the edge itself (at 1839 eV), and the post-edge (1839 -2400 eV).…”
