<title>Tunable photoconductive switch-based microwave source</title>

Abstract

Ab stractWe describe a circuit for generating a variety of pulsed waveforms. The circuit consists of a fast photoconductive switch (the bulk avalanche semiconductor switch or BASS) and three transmission line sections consisting of a charge line, a tuning stub and an output line. A model was established for predicting the expected waveforms and experimental results are compared to the model predictions.
