<title>Reliable multimode fiber optic system design</title>

Abstract: Multimode fiber is increasingly being used in high data rate (> 100 Mb/s) systems with both short (< 2 km) and long (>2 km) system fiber lengths. Obtaining reliable system performance at an economical price in these types of applications requires more precise multimode link design methodologies than previously required for low data rate, short length implementations.
