Abstract:An ultrawideband (UWB) random noise radar operating in 1-2 GHz frequency range has been developed at University of Nebraska. A unique heterodyne correlation technique based on delayed transmit waveform using a photonic delay line has been used to field test this system at a target range of 200 meters.
