“…Because of difference of requirement and background of laser communication link, this system is different to those programme such as SILEX [2] , LUCE [3] , OCD [4] , STVR-2 [5] and so on. Some special considerations are indicated as follows: 1) Although the influence of the flight height of the plane is of little importance to the communication distance, but the overall system performance is influenced to some aspects:①When aircraft fly from troposphere to stratosphere, the attitude stabilization will be greatly increased because the vibration caused by atmosphere is greatly decreased;②The communication channel only penetrate 10% of the whole atmosphere, and the absorption loss is less than 5% when height over 10000m; ③The influence of the turbulence and flickering on the distortion of the laser light beam is greatly decreased while flight height is keep increasing, so the precision of the APT system can be increased.…”
