<title>New design of the correlation filter for distortion-invariant optical pattern recognition</title>

Abstract

A new disign of the correlation filter is proposed. The spectral iterative technique and the Fourier-Mellin desriptore (FMD'S) are used in the filter disign. Targets are detected by rotating this filter in the Fourier plane to determine points of constant intensity.
