<title>Influence of multiple light-scattering on TiO2 nanoparticles imbedded into stratum corneum on light transmittance in UV and visible wavelength regions</title>

Abstract: This paper focuses on the simulation of propagation of radiation in UV and visible wavelength regions within a superficial skin layer (stratum corneum, SC) partially filled with titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) nanoparticles. Volume concentrations of the particles (0.67% -2.25%) correspond to the maximal concentrations of the considered particles in the frames of independent scattering.
