<title>Influence of excess quantum noise and full saturation effect on light coherence in Fabry-Perot and distributed feedback lasers</title>

Abstract: The effect of the mode non-orthogonality on the laser linewidth as well as the coherence of light is analysed taking saturation effects fully into account. A stochastic approach based on the solution of the time-dependent Fokker-Planck equation is used. Our theoretical model allows to defme the influence of the real structures parameters on the laser linewidth.
