<p class="HeadingRunIn"><strong>Atlantidae (Pterotracheoidea) of the northeast Pacific</strong></p>

Abstract: Atlantids are holoplanktonic snails found in epipelagic waters of all oceans mostly tropical and subtropical but some temperate. There are three genera within Atlantidae, which can be identified by a dextrally coiled, laterally flattened, transparent, discoid (Atlanta, Protatlanta) or involute (Oxygyrus) shell.
