Abstract:Trichinellosis is a globally diffused food-borne parasitic disease caused by nematodes of the Trichinella complex. During evolution, guided by ecological interactions, natural selection, and biochemical “intelligence”, these parasites developed admirable strategies to infect the host’s organism.
