Abstract:Neisseria meningitidis outer membrane vesicles or proteoliposomes (PLs) has been used as vaccines and adjuvant. Despite the presence of potentially toxic amounts of lipopolysaccharide (LPS), they have been shown to be safe, well tolerated, and immunogenic.
