Abstract: ObjectiveLow levels of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] are commonly found in type 2 diabetes. According to the study by Zoppini et al (2015), the multiple logistic regression analysis showed that there were significant association of high vitamin D with reduced risk of diabetic retinopathy and that of longer duration of diabetes with increased risk of diabetic retinopathy.
