The impact of different environmental policies on the broadband performance of overhead multiple-input multiple-output high-voltage/broadband over power lines (MIMO/HV/BPL) networks is investigated in this paper. The examined environmental policies focus on the carbon energy footprint reduction of overhead MIMO/HV/BPL networks while respecting their broadband character. The contribution of this paper is three-fold. First, the spectral and environmental performance of various configurations and topologies of overhead MIMO/HV/BPL networks is assessed with regard to respective spectral efficient (SE) and newly presented environmental efficient (EE) metrics. Second, further insights regarding the performance of overhead MIMO/HV/BPL networks highlight the better spectral and environmental performance of these networks against other today's overhead HV/BPL networks, such as single-input single-output (SISO), single-input multiple-output (SIMO), or multiple-input single-output (MISO) ones. Third, the definition of appropriate environmental policies that optimize the coexistence of the three main sectors of concern, which are the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, protection of existing radioservices and promotion of environmentally aware limits, is promoted. Towards that direction, the proposed SE/EE trade-off relation of this paper is expected to prove an extremely helpful SE/EE optimization technique.

This paper considers the wireless sensor networks and highlights its applications in present time and mainly focuses on the two main techniques for saving maximum energy in transmitting information in WSN and these are multi-input multi-output (MIMO) and cooperative MIMO (CMIMO). Under this paper there is a comparison of energy efficiency in MIMO and single-input single-output (SISO) system for both transmission energy and circuit energy. Then there will be the discussion of CMIMO advantages, its energy model, properties, comparison with the equivalent technique (DCA) and the most important strategy used under CMIMO system is node sleep strategy and its significance in front of non-node sleep strategy will be discuss in this paper.

Abstract. A 2.4 GHz self-differential down-conversion Gilbert cell mixer with current-reuse topology is presented in this paper. This design is targeted for low-power IoT applications. Here, by using a novel self-differential RF input stage with current-reuse topology, the single-ended RF signal can be transferred into differential signals without using a balun. With an applied local oscillator (LO) power of 10 dBm and RF signal of -30 dBm, this mixer demonstrates 9.886 dB of conversion gain, 10.4 dB of noise figure at 5 MHz and an IIP3 of 1.1767dBm in both I/Q branch. The design consumes 1.57 mA from a 1.8 V voltage supply.
