“…In recent years, with the progress of industrial development and the increased number of vehicles, the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HCs) in ambient air is on the rise, causing the frequent occurrence of photochemical smog pollution in some areas and seriously threatening people's health [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]. However, controlling CO and HCs exhaust emissions can be an important direction to reducing air pollution.…”

“…These observed shifts might be due to the effect of metal (Au and Ag) NPs. 17,18 When metals are deposited on TiO 2 , two effects may occur on the vibrational properties of the TiO 2 . First, the volume contraction might occur within TiO 2 NPs because of the addition of metal (Au and Ag) NPs.…”

“…The main Ir 4f peak binding energy is consistent with the Ir 4+ oxidation state. [11] However, an increasing secondary peak at higher binding energy is observed as we increase the number of Ir cycles per super cycle. This peak can be assigned to the lower valence Ir 3+ oxidation state.…”
