Abstract:The inclusions of a silicate melt were investigated in quartz insets of the extrusive rhyolite collected at Bazman Cenozoic volcano (Iran) and associated with the process of recent subduction. Low temperatures of the silicate melt along with high concentrations of water in the melt are ascertained. The microelemental composition of the melt showed a similarity to acidic melts of island-arc formations.
