Low Sar Multiband CPW‐Fed Pifa with Independent Resonant Frequency Control for Wireless Communication Applications

Abstract: Low specific absorption rate (SAR) compact hexaband planar inverted‐F antenna (PIFA) with independent resonant frequency control has been studied in this letter. Two trapezoidal‐shaped slots are etched on the coplanar waveguide‐fed PIFA‐radiating plate to create two independent resonant frequencies as well as the fundamental PIFA itself.
