Low power object based data reception for DVB-T2

Abstract: Mobile devices - like smartphones - usually demand for ultra low power solutions to save battery life. This paper presents a novel approach to receive broadcasted data objects from a data carousel under these extreme low power conditions. The method is demonstrated for the DVB-T2 system using an integrated ultra low current wake-up receiver.
