“…Both the significant decrease in the MCH and the increase in the red cell distribution range in the blood (RDW) are directly related to the decrease in MCV in the experimental groups. On the other hand, the mean corpuscular concentration in each erythrocyte (MCHC) remained similar in all groups, as well as the total dosages of Hb and Ht, which may suggest a beneficial effect of LLLT on the levels of Hb and Ht, 15,16 after the previous radiotherapy that has a deleterious effect on blood cells. 12,17,18 This result may be related to the photobiostimulator effect of the laser at a wavelength of 660 nm, which can cause a reaction with Hb since it has chromophoric receptors that are activated in the presence of light.…”

“…Discussing the mechanisms of changes in the phase portrait and EPME in various pathologies before and after the treatment, it may be stated that these measurements do not depend on the etiology of the disease and are of the typical character. Based on the previously found dependence of EPME on the stress reaction development and triggering of the adaptive processes [9,10] it may be considered that emergence of echiocytic cell transformation and EPME reduction is caused by the development of stress reaction the intensity of which is manifested by a significant EPME decrease and appearance of spheroechinocytes. But in Thus, the results obtained allow us to state that during the development of a pathological process, stress reaction is progressing manifesting itself in the morphological changes of erythrocytes and their electrophoretic mobility.…”
