Abstract:BACKGROUND
Secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH) triggered by Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium is rare in pediatric patients. There is no consensus on how to treat S. typhimurium -triggered sHLH.
