Low-grade meningioma showing nearly equal density with spinal fluid on radiographic images

Abstract: A 61-year-old woman had an intracranial tumour that was located on the falx. Meningioma was suspected and the tumour rapidly grew over 1 year. It showed nearly equal density with spinal fluid showing almost no enhancement on radiographic images, like microcystic meningioma. Successful removal of the tumour was achieved. Histopathologically, the tumour was diagnosed as low-grade meningioma. The meningioma had variable sized microcysts and the appearance of solid area was meningothelial meningioma. This is a rar… Show more

“…Omeprazole, a representative PPI, suppresses gastric acid secretion by specific inhibition of the H + /K + ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell. After oral administration, the onset of the antisecretory effect of omeprazole occurs within 1 hour, with the maximum effect occurring within 2 hours, and the inhibitory effect of omeprazole on acid secretion increases with repeated once‐daily dosing, reaching a plateau after 4 days . Thus, subjects received 20 mg omeprazole once daily for 5 days to maximize the acid‐reducing effect before coadministration of momelotinib and omeprazole.…”

Coadministration of omeprazole decreased the plasma concentrations of momelotinib, reducing C max by approximately 36% and AUC inf by approximately 33%.…”
