Abstract:Background To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of prophylactic low-dose dexamethasone for postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) after total joint arthroplasty. Methods a total of 100 patients who underwent primary total knee or hip arthroplasty were enrolled.
