Low-Cost Wave Profiling Device for Transverse Wave Characterization

Abstract: This study focused on the design and construction of a Low-Cost Device with Data Logger using Arduino Microcontroller capable of profiling the transverse wave. Series of low-cost potentiometers were used as sensor in profiling the transverse wave. The device resembled a long boat with two floaters on each segment that is deployed on the pool and sea.
