Low correlation of human cytomegalovirus DNA amplification by polymerase chain reaction with cytomegalovirus disease in organ transplant recipients

Abstract: Seventy-five organ transplant recipients underwent prolonged virological and serological follow-up for early detection of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection after transplantation.
