Low-Carbon Economic Dispatch for Integrated Energy System Through the Dynamic Reward and Penalty Carbon Emission Pricing Mechanism

Abstract: The integrated energy system (IES) plays a key role in energy conservation and emission reduction. In order to realize the low-carbon economic dispatch of the IES, current studies usually utilize the fixed and the ladder-type pricing mechanism-based carbon emission unit cost (CEUC) in the optimal dispatch model. However, those mechanisms fail to take carbon emissions levels of the system into account, and the relevant parameters, such as the interval length, are hard to set. In order to tackle this challenge, … Show more

“…The multi-energy coupling operation mode expands the regulation capacity of the single power system and plays a key role in emission reduction (Mancarella, 2014;Martinez Cesena et al, 2019;Wu et al, 2022). However, the complex energy conversion relationship and non-linear characteristics bring challenges to the operational flexibility evaluation.…”

“…Yi et al [19] established a low-carbon positioning vehicle scheduling objective function and formulated a three-stage Stackelberg game model. Wu et al [20] constructed a ceuc model with dynamic reward and penalty pricing mechanism (drppm). Tomasi et al [21] established a low-carbon logistics target model for fuel vehicles in order to make carbon emissions proportional to fuel consumption.…”

“…Ref. [22] established a two-stage reaction model of P2G and proposed an energy utilization path of mixed hydrogen and oxygen-enriched deep peaking. P2G can directly produce natural gas through hydrogen methanation, and the natural gas input into CHP with two-stage P2G operation can further improve the low-carbon and economic performance of an IES.…”
